staying warm on the water

I'm somewhat new to kayaking. What is the best (fairly low cost) way to stay warm while hooping? I've heard of splash pants, etc., but don't have $100+ extra to spend at this time.

Any advice appreciated.

breatheable waders are about $90 at bass pro.I have had them for 2 years now and love them.

i use neoprene waders. they got a little leak in the foot but they are alright. Keeps me warm. I just wish I had a waterproof shirt to go over it to keep my arms warm. Some times when we launch and get a wave to the face a bit of water leaks in through the top. I got the waders for $40 at sports authority

Try using a rash gaurd for surfing they are warm when dry ,and dry out pretty quickly and come in long sleve and short, and along with a PFD, Keeps me warm.....

.If that dont work Take a flask of Crown Royal Just Kidding:D....

Ghetto solution:
If you have one, wear a wetsuit.
Even with the top pulled off, your legs will stay warm, but you will of course be wet for a few hours.
You can buy a used or crappy thin one on the cheap if you look around.
