Newport Harbor
 

I want to hit up Newport Harbor on Saturday. Want to use the tube. Anyone out there care to join me and show me where to launch?:confused:

Launching around 6:30-7am.

You can launch from 15th st. or the coast guard station.

How's the parking situation? Thanks for the reply dude.

coast guard will be wide open....

15th is hit or miss.

With a tube you are not hauling a bunch of stuff, use the cost guard station. Never had parking issues there.

I checked google maps, I found the 15th street launch location. WHere is the CG location?

go it! THanks. One last question, which do you recommend? Looking for the flat kind but dont mind pulling on spotties!:reel:

I have had success with 3" big hammer (halloween) tossed by docks/pilings for the spotted kind. Others have had success with crankbaits too

Heading out tomorrow...launching from NAC, and fishing the back bay all the way to the bait barge. I will be in a dune colored Pro Angler....See you guys out there...
