I dont know if its been posted but I was watching Tosh.0 last night and they showed this clip. Hmmmm.... I wonder what will happen if I try to take the hook out with my hand?

I learned first hand that this could easily happen with the smallest of mako's.

So many things can be said about all the things that guy did wrong. He was offered help and turned it down. You see him fighting this shark to get it pinned to the rail of the boat. Not using any sort of pliers to get a grip on the hook. Dude, sadly, got what he was asking for.

Tosh is classic. I saw him at a comedy club a while back. It was just after Katrina...like within weeks. Way too soon to be cracking jokes. It was foggy that morning, Tosh goes, "UGH, this fog! Now I know how they feel in New Orleans." Lots of ouches from the crowd...Tosh continues, "What, WHAT?! Can you think of any other place in the world that needed a two week bath?"

Its ok, you can take a bit of time to decide if that's funny or not...

I saw that bit on his DVD...that is what makes him so funny.

I still think he got what he was asking for. When a friend offers help you say,"Sure, thank you." He probably would not have been bit. Had they used a Circle hook the darn thing would have been in the corner of the mouth and come out a lot easier.

Oh god, I would have been better off not seeing that but somehow I just couldn't help but keep watching until the end.

Fingers are pretty important in life and they don't grow back. There's a good way to lose one.

I was at the Marlin club on Catalina one night playing pool and talking shark fishing with some other Captains. This one guy says a shark bit off his finger and holds up a hand missing his pinky. Another guy was like: "How did that happen? and the first guy said "I put my hand in the sharks mouth" to which the other guy simply replied "Dumbass...I bet you squealed like a pig" and we all just laughed and laughed..

For the rest of the night any time anyone did anything stupid like missed a easy shot someone would squeal out: "I put my hand in the sharks mouth...wheeee....wheeeee...wheeee..." like the fat guy in Deliverance. I swear I laughed so hard I almost pissed my shorts.... Just too funny.
