One of the original Avets for sure. Notice the clicker is in the 6 o'clock position. They changed that out when people started complaining about accidentally engaging the clicker while palming their reels.

Yes this is one of the original avets. It is 4.1:1 gear ratio rather than the newer one that is 4.6:1. It has never been used or "new in box". This is a great reel and is what made avet so popular. The new ones sell for $250 so this is still a bargain.

I haven't picked up any gear from fishaholic, but a couple people I know have and feel that they got good gear at a good price. If I had a few bucks to spare I would not hesitate. I need a reel to cast the surface iron.

I have purchased two Avets from Dave (Fishaholic) and one Avet from his brother. All have been in excellent shape and far exceeded my expectations not only in performance, but cosmetically too. I don't buy any gear from retail anymore, only from our community (fishaholic).

As far as Avets go, they're great reels, and the old versions are just as good.

So Mega, don't know where you get your info from? But before you flapping your pie hole and expressing your ignorance, you might want to filter your thoughts before you hit that enter key. Just my .02.
