3/28 Ghost Cruisers - caught on tape
Launched at 7 am seriously trying to remain focused on the white
seabass today before the Fred Hall seminar. Perfect conditions for seeing fish, calm wind all morning, bright sunshine and almost flat seas. No luck 2day ... but was happy to get a tiny video of what I'm seeing from the kayak. Turned out there were a lot more fish than I saw from the surface - in fact, I stopped the video thinking they were long gone. This was somewhere off San Diego area. :wsb: http://s4.photobucket.com/albums/y11...sers032810.flv |
My heart started beating like crazy.

wow! That is sweet:)
|
Very nice video.

That happened to me at the Ramp in Baja....a school swam 6 ft. under my yak in clear water...a dozen at least...they looked close enough to hit with my paddle....dropped iron all over them but they ignored it...didn't even spook. Before that I didn't have a clue that WSB were there but it's been game on ever since.

AWESOME

Cool - how are you recording that? Looks like you have your camera underwater.
|
Wow Larry,
I've been looking for those things. Wondering what I would be like to video a school... That's some cool stuff. Thanks. |
too cool! hopefully next time they bite for you.
|
Cool video! Too bad you didnt have a speargun.
|
Nice video, though I think you should warn people to make sure they have some napkins nearby...:drool5:
|
The video was shot with at Canon D10 waterproof point and shoot
camera - great for kayaking. Without sticking my head underwater I couldn't tell what I was recording - just dunking it and aiming in the right direction in video mode, hoping for the best. |
spoooooooky!!! cool video

Wow! Cool vid!
|
Eye Eye Captain - set your depth @ 30 ft.
