LA JOLLA SHORES – The American Cancer Society will receive a fat check courtesy of the kayak fishing community, another installment in a multi-year fund raising effort that’s amounted to many tens of thousands of dollars. Every cent of it is generated by the happy crew that turns out to fish beautiful La Jolla in the memory of one of their own, waterman Steve Moyer, a man who personified everything good in the sport.
