Seems to work. If it holds a vacuum, I expect it to be waterproof. You'll need to break it open for a recharge, but a quart sized plastic seal bag makes for 2 applications. Cheap and effective. just sharin info :)

Just a word of caution: Trapped humidity can condense
in the device and could potentially cause problems.

Kinda like when you load your wallet fishing license and phone into your dry box at home, and don't open it until your otw in la jolla and theres water in the bottom of it :0
