where would be the best place to find a Mini-X
I decided I want something that I can toss in the truck bed and not have to tie down everytime.
Something small, light, so I can get in a quick session after work without hours of preparation time. I want to: Go home, throw a rod and kayak in truck bed, and get a few hours of Calico, sheephead, whitefish in off La Jolla after work. Without all the electronics, batteries, bait tank, depthfinder to worry about. (got a hand held GPS with my spots all marked). So it has to be small, light, but can do a few miles easy. Figured Mini-X would probably fit the bill... Correct?? Who has the best prices? Factory blems ok. |

I got a mini-x and love it. I'm even thinking about trading my x-factor for one.

How does it paddle? Do you swerve all over the place? or does it go where you point?
I am not gonna do any marathons running to pier again and again, or go chasing after birds. But I want to be sure that I can at least go a couple of miles out and a couple miles back without having to fight the boat constantly. |
You know what, I never really paid attention. I guess if it tracked bad I would know. I like it. Like you said, you can just toss it in the bed of your truck with about 2-3 feet sticking out.
