went out on my 12ft wooden boat with a friend. Lots and lots of giant macs,a couple of berri's and a nice calico. we also ran into a pod of 20 dolphins try to get in front but couldnt. we tried to get some irons in there but no bites . All in all a nice day. it was very clear that i still have some learnin to do ......

Since many guys ignore the MLPA threads...check that one out so we can continue to fish.

I hear ya Tyler...seeing the same stuff on another site. There's time to post about going out and fishing, but can't post whether they can or cannot show up at the MLPA meeting or at least showing some sort of acknowledgment of support or encouragement to others to attend.<style>-- /* Style Definitions */ p.MsoNormal, li.MsoNormal, div.MsoNormal {mso-style-parent:""; margin:0in; margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:12.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-font-family:"Times New Roman";} @page Section1 {size:8.5in 11.0in; margin:1.0in 1.25in 1.0in 1.25in; mso-header-margin:.5in; mso-footer-margin:.5in; mso-paper-source:0;} div.Section1 {page:Section1;} --> </style><!--[if gte mso 10]> <style> /* Style Definitions */ table.MsoNormalTable {mso-style-name:"Table Normal"; mso-tstyle-rowband-size:0; mso-tstyle-colband-size:0; mso-style-noshow:yes; mso-style-parent:""; mso-padding-alt:0in 5.4pt 0in 5.4pt; mso-para-margin:0in; mso-para-margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:10.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman"; mso-ansi-language:#0400; mso-fareast-language:#0400; mso-bidi-language:#0400;} </style> <![endif]-->

Hey everyone! I think what Tyler is saying is that if you don't make an effort to make these meetings, all these super fishy days in LJ are history. Make an effort now so that we can fish it later. See you at the next meeting June 4th.

On the topic of MLPA closures. I know the yakkers and spearos turned out at the recent meetings, but what about private boaters or better yet the sport boats guys. Just curious to know how large other groups were.

Thanks for your efforts.

In response to private boaters being at the meetings.... they are there in force also, although they don't speak alot at the meetings, the sport boat captains and a TON of bloodydeckers showed up at the meeting in LA. They are doing their part, the question is why aren't more of you doing something? ? ? ? ? ?

The brutal answer to that Matt, is that most people are Sheep, and are quite content to be lead to slaughter.
