1/17 LJ Report
My friend and I launched at sunrise and headed out into the glassy water. We yoyo'd jigs and sent down some squid for the better part of the day. We caught an assortment of rockfish and a few bass... Not the target species but it was still a blast. We saw whales saw and a ton of the leopard sharks.

Geoff, nice Rockfish, I went out yesterday (1/20) for nada except sore back!

But man the conditions have been PERFECT! I think we paddled around 7-8 miles total...I need a Hobie :rolleyes:
I forgot to mention that we saw a guy on a boat fighting what I assumed to be a yellow that ended up popping off at the surface. |
