Sat Nov 22nd report
Well launched a little later than most poeple(6ish), fortunately Rusty and I are in no great rush to make it on out before gray, but still made it on out to the spot and made decent bait really quickly. Relatively quickly my bottom bait got raped by what appears to be a shark, gigantic gaping holes in the sardine. Threw deep iron and had one posted on the bottom and fished the mid column pretty heavily until around 10am, with no current I lost interest and called it a day! Not too much happening, may try the evening tomorrow and see if I fare any better. Good luck to those that head on out!!
go get 'em!! |
I struck out too. Nice morning though.

When Matt split around ten I decided to head elsewhere to hunt down some fish taco critters (rockfish, etc). I still have plenty of tuna and yt in the freezer from a great summer... need somthing new. By 11 the fog rolled in thick, and before long the south wind came up and there was still no current from windansea to the peir. Luckily I brought a $hit load of food and warm clothes.... Total for today was 6 lizard fish, 6 Greenies and 1 spaniard. If I had to catch all my own food, I probably would have died a few weeks ago.

Nice not much going on for me, another day with little to no water movement. Fog was heavy from NW Corner to MB.
