WTB Waterport
I'm looking for a used Waterport tank, if anyone is willing to sell please message me.

The 3.8 gallon is $50 off at Costco now
|
Wow, $50 off is a good deal. Thank you for the heads up!

Looks cool, but pricey. Can it spray with more pressure than a traditional water sprayer? |
Not sure what a traditional water sprayer is, but I'm happy with the pressure of the one I bought at Costco. Pressure is great.

https://www.amazon.com/Chapin-Intern...31&sr=8-3&th=1 It looks like the Waterport delivers a larger output volume. I could definitely use something like that for kayak cleaning on the beaches that lack a washdown. |
Agree. The Waterport manufacturer recommends not going over 40psi, which is high compared to something like a Scepter tank, which I think shouldn't go beyond 15psi.
I also like how the Waterport has 3 ways to pressurize: A hose, the hand pump, or the Shrader valve. |
Personal review
I’ve owned a water port in the past and personally I didn’t find it very well built. Eventually the tank will lose its ability to hold pressure (maybe due to it being made of plastic) and what you end up with is nothing more than a dribble. The aluminum frame tank by Yakima even though more expensive would be a better value in the long run. Just my $.02
