Gary's WCW sub
Caught 7-25 around 6:30 A.M. on a greenback tied to a reverse dropper loop setup. As soon as I saw Jasmine in the fleet I knew it was going to be a good day. He's like a fish magnet that attract fish to the area. This weighed in at 17.5 lbs. Adi. You were right on and thanks for taking the "on the water" shots.

Awesome Gary! Heard you had to remove some "klingons" for that pic.lol
|
Good job Gary!
It sure looks lonely in the background. Really makes me want to spend $100 and fish "shoulder to shoulder" on a cattle boat :icon_bs:, for a bunch of giant tangles and a couple of tiny fish.

Awesome!

Nice :yt:. I would of killed for one of those Sunday.
|
Tyler, and I would kill for just one of your smaller white sea bass right about now.
|
Nice 'cuda. Congrats on a great double.
|
Wow;
Nice Yt. That Cuda looks kinda pissed being trapped under that pig. What's up with the cuda anyway? Baked YT stuffed with cuda? Something for the cat? Chunkin for BSB? :D |

UPGRADE
Matt, I didn't rub T-Man's kayak but talking to him at the launch Monday afternoon worked for me today. I caught my personal best yellowtail this morning at 6:30 that weighed in at 31.5 lbs. and 43 inches. When I came in, a guy looking at the fish asked if I had trouble gaffing it. This time I made a hurried clean gaff shot taking the fish out of reach from a damn seal lion that made his appearance as the fish came to color. This is the first time I've had to deal with a seal on MY yellowtail. At least he only messed with the underside. Thanks goes out to the Pber that put his line in freespool when he found it ensnared mine. http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d1...nut/315lbs.jpg http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d1...rnut/feb25.jpg<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"><meta name="ProgId" content="Word.Document"><meta name="Generator" content="Microsoft Word 9"><meta name="Originator" content="Microsoft Word 9"><link rel="File-List" href="file:///C:/DOCUME%7E1/sullivan/LOCALS%7E1/Temp/msoclip1/01/clip_filelist.xml"><!--[if gte mso 9]><xml> <w:WordDocument> <w:View>Normal</w:View> <w:Zoom>0</w:Zoom> <w:DoNotOptimizeForBrowser/> </w:WordDocument> </xml><![endif]--><style> <!-- /* Style Definitions */ p.MsoNormal, li.MsoNormal, div.MsoNormal {mso-style-parent:""; margin:0in; margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:10.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-font-family:"Times New Roman";} a:link, span.MsoHyperlink {color:blue; text-decoration:underline; text-underline:single;} a:visited, span.MsoHyperlinkFollowed {color:purple; text-decoration:underline; text-underline:single;} @page Section1 {size:8.5in 11.0in; margin:1.0in 1.25in 1.0in 1.25in; mso-header-margin:.5in; mso-footer-margin:.5in; mso-paper-source:0;} div.Section1 {page:Section1;} --></style> |

Nice Job Gary!! Way to show the seal who's boss!!!
|
Nice one Gary! Good story too.
|
Congrats on the new personal best, Gary!
Are you sure that guy wasn't attacked by a 300 lb White Seabass? Looks like the teeth marks I like to see, but bigger :D. On a side note, I've never seen a dog attack a Yellowtail in La Jolla with candy in the water.
|
That fish fish was fat Gary. Congrats on a new PB!
:cheers1: |
Congrats on the PB!
