Surf Launch in Hobie Tandem with Son
 

This is from almost a month ago when there as high surf weekend. Could not get out on Friday, but made it Sunday with son. One of the employees of a kayak tour company kindly helped push us out. You will see one of tourist kayakers roll into us during launch, but guy keep pushing us and we made is through. My other soon took a video of it, so here you go!

That sounds like a fun experience! I’ve had a few close calls myself trying to launch in rough surf, and it always helps when someone offers a hand. It’s cool that the tour guy was there to help push you out. The video must’ve been awesome, especially with the kayak bumping into you – definitely one of those moments that makes for a good story later on!
