Kayak Fishing Adventures on Big Water’s Edge - SD Bay Jetty 08/07 0600-1430

Early start struggled with bait but found a lot of mackerel hanging out around the third tower thing with big horn. Definitely annoying but gotta have bait! Caught a barracuda on the sabiki about 20” ish and also caught four bonito none with size. Trolled our baits around for a long time couple short bites here and there but nothing crazy. Slow trolled and threw lures at the same time. Caught a dozen bay bass by the end of the trip. And ended up with one 25” halibut.
