Inexpensive combo for a buddy to use or just as a back up

Bought the rod and reel separately last year from Penn (pure fishing).

Reel is a Penn 309 spooled up with 40# braid backer and 50# mono

Rod is a Penn Rampage Boat Rod 6'-6" 20-50#
