Looks like the floating eyeball of death.

That would be great to defend against flying fish and territorial anglers chuckin' iron at you.

Now that's the coolest sail setup I've seen. I'm going to get one for DVL. The wind comes up around 11am and blows towards the marina.

Doug, not sure about flying fish but my irons will go right through that thing.:D

With the right wind conditions that would just about make the 9 mile bank do-able. How quickly can you get it down if you hook up while sailing?

$175, I bought a couple to see how they do. Kind of like the pop up sun shades they twist up and store about the size of a plate. When I get a chance, I'll give one a try and post a review. They are super simple and could be cool to extend some range.

I'm going to stay away from the red one now cause of what Jim said. Totally ruins it for me. But, I'm getting one. So you can steer it with the tag lines? Nice easy way to get to the 9 but remember you gotta get back :captain:

I was thinking the other way, paddle out in the morning calm and ride the afternoon onshore back home. Just got to be sure the wind isn't gonna come out of the NW.
