Morning bass session
 

Hey all.
Just a quick report. Fished Malibu this morning.
The conditions were glassy and the water was clear. Lots of small baitfish around and the calicos were biting. Got 5 in the shallows and 6 in about 30 ft.
The kelp was visible and looked pretty healthy. Most of the fish were under size but managed 4 legals. All released. Saw a bit of fire damage but fortunately the smoke has cleared up by the coast. Nice sunrise. Off the water by 11am.
