nice mix of big Sierras and leopards. Curious as to what spot you were on there. We usually fish a lot closer to Isla Willard.

Hi Iceman,
Sure, see the image, I found some structure last year and still working, should be around 200 meters from the island, it goes from 120ft to 60ft deep, I had a bunch of boats around, they were just watching how I was having fun :reel::reel::reel::reel: it looks they didn’t wanted to trust on a sonar :) I lost a bunch of tackle, there were big fish down there, I was using braid 50lbs and 50 lbs fluoro, it was like a piece of cake for sierras, I tried a wire leader, but it looks sierras don’t like the wire leader, any advice you guys have so I can avoid losing tackle and fish big fish would be great :) I don't have my sonar close to me, as soon as have I will copy the coordinates and posted here. Cheers |
With the sierra I had good luck with 40# mono and checked for nicks and retied a lot.
