NEWBIE TO KAYAK FISHING

New to the Forums, but was wondering if anyone going out to fish the OC/LA harbors this Sunday? I just got a PA14 and was thinking about taking that out for a spin.

Still need to get a few things but should be able to put her in the water by Sunday.

There is a friendly competition this Saturday at Dana Point harbor if you'd like to meet a bunch of guys. Starts at 6, or 7am, $10, biggest fish gets the pot. Check in at Pure Water Sports, right across from the launch ramp.
