5/21 SD Bay
 

Tried out my new bass rod today. First time fishing for bass and managed to catch a spotty by throwing a 3" swimbait in towards the rocks on shore and working it back to me at a mellow pace. Little savages have sharp teeth.

Need to learn more about catching bay bass. Super fun!

Also took lady pike out for her first fishing trip. She got one short bite on the gulp swimbait, but didn't get to reel one in. Next time.
