Webcam maintenance

I noticed the webcam is dirty and could use a cleaning. This would be helpful for this summers bikini season. :D

I second the pre bikini-season webcam cleaning. ;)

Don't worry, I'll get a ladder and clean it before I put my thong on.

What it needs is a wide angle lens. :elefant:

all right, great idea Art...

I just did the random BWE user-name shuffle to select the 1st lucky webcam maintenance crew:

Brad and Tyler!

:D

Adi; while your at it. It sure would be nice if you move the camera more to the south. There's no need to see so far north. It would be cool to see the point, due west and the launch. I really enjoy watching the tourist crash and burn.

madscientist 03-17-2008 12:18 PM

I'd be happy to clean it. I've heard black spraypaint does a great job on those housings.:D

Art, there's much more entertaining sites for blurry tourist ass.

Please do not move camera angle any more south than you have to. There are some fisherman that don't need other fisherman knowing their comings and goings. Any competitive fisherman knows what I'm talking about.

Zed 03-17-2008 12:30 PM

I appreciate this one.

...and how does that apply to you...:D

A little more south would be great - it would give more of a view
of the actual launch area.

Wavster you have no business over there!:p

Not sure what the 'competition' aspect has to do with it, so if you want to enlighten the rest of us feel free. If you are talking WCW, then how about after that is over?

I was just sugggesting a small move south. We don't need to see the pair of yak wheels on the wooden fence. There can still be a private entrance and exit along the fence. The camera picture shows way too much northern LJ. It's 50% waste of a data stream.

tylerdurden 03-17-2008 06:11 PM

I vote to move the camera angle a little south. It shows too much of the beach and knowing camera voyeurs are watching is a little creepy. That way there is more beach off camera so you can load up out of view. That and it would show more surf which is the real purpose, or is the real purpose to create controversy and draw people to the website :hmmmm2: ?
