Crank Baits for Trolling
Going to HH this friday to break in my minix, wondering what crank baits are good to use . The specifics size and type (name)

A Magnum 22 in green mackeral lol
Anything that matches the hatch should work. Even bass crankbaits have been known to work. |
thanks
Thanks ill go pick one of those up today

anything approipriately sized that will dive from 9-12 feet should work. Deep diver Frenzys work well, as do Rapala Shad raps & X raps.

Sorry, i was actually trying to be funny. A Rapala Magnum CD-22 is friggin huge. I would go with any freshwater bass type. Shallower is better as you don't want to go past 10 feet me thinks as you'll get caught up in the eelgrass or catch the bottom. The one's listed above are pretty good. Anything that matches the hatch and gives off a lot of vibration. I would also give it a thin coat of hot sauce or unigoop or other fish attractant. Of course, you can also troll plastics such as gulp or something carolina rigged to be wormless.

haha i figured
Haha i went to my local tackle shop and checked it out, and was like whoa a little too big, ha but i picked one up rated for 12 feet mack color, so ill be out there tom. HH . Where in HH are good spots to fish im not really familiar with the are, ill probably launch from OEX beach

Plastics in the docks will always produce. Just ask Andy about areas when your picking up the boat, Hes learned that harbor fairly well from what I can tell (or he just BS's very well).
Can we get the name of that little beach officially changed to OEX Beach? That would be cool  Im sure you will enjoy that boat. |
yeah
Yeah, really that beach should be OEX beach:luxhello: , and im sure ill enjoy the mini, maybe when i get a little better at this kayak thing, ill head out to LJ with some people from the forums.
