MIRAGE DRIVE PLUG

P.A. USERS WHAT PURPOSE DOSE THE PLUG DO AND WHEN SHOULD YOU USE IT

Never on a PA really. Its for when you paddle, and have you ever tried to paddle that thing? It is so you can pull the drive, plug the hole so water doesn't rush in and paddle (or try)

You specify PA owners, but I'll go head and post anyway.

In other boats, like the Revo and Adventure, if you don't have the drive installed, it makes a huge difference to have the plug installed when you're paddling or sailing.

It's good for PAs if you run a trolling motor.

It might help when paddling. But the small manual that came with the Mirage drive kayaks says it's to keep the hull from distorting in the area of the drive when the mirage dive is not installed during storage.
