LJ 8/14 in-n-out
 

Had a late start at LJ. Launched 5:45am onto 1-2 footers. Only managed to make 5 spanish macs in about 30min. Set up my troll away from the crowd and hooked up within 10 minutes, handed off my bait and headed in:paddleersmilie:. I had promised the wife I would be home early and I kept my word, back in Encinitas by 8:30.

Yay. Good report. Home by 8:30 Made me smile :)

Now that's the way to git r done! Just curious whereabouts did you make bait?

It was between the parking lot(boats n kayaks) and the condo 70-80' of water, closer to the kelp line. Bait was tough to find that day, people were still trying to make bait with very little success from what I saw as I paddled in. I stopped to talk with another yaker who only had 3 Spaniards, I offered him the rest of mine but he was very hesitant until he saw the yellowtail. Told him it was cought on a spanish and the general area away from the crowd, changed his mind real quick. Fish was cought on 30 flouro and a 2/0 circle hook, hope this helps and good luck!

Exactly what im worried about, already told her I was going tomorrow 8/20 first thing out of her mouth without missing a beat "will you be here by 9 again,". So being the good husband that I am I said sure honey ill try my best, trying not to laugh the whole time:sifone:. Lol, she'll be pissed tomorrow.

It sure was brotha, only problem was that after cleaning everything up and being done by 10 all I could think about was getting back on the water. I love my me time on the water, it's where I go to clear my mind and think of nothing but:reeling::cheers1::sifone:, needless to say I didnt get enough.
