Try PL kelp instead launching from dana landing. Pretty fishy area. The paddle is longer than that to lets say the Nw corner. But no waves to contest.

surfline sucks
Use MAGICSEAWEED, its pretty much spot on, and remember that the boat launch is always smaller then say the Pier which is where most of the websites give their info for.

8-9 at 20 seconds is a serious swell. I'm not familiar with this sight, and unless I missed it, there's not a direction for the swell if its S or SW the launch should protected from most of it. The long period will bring some energy ateound the point but should be doable. Mike

Showing a steeper SW direction. I'll bet LJ will be doable for the most part. But will wax da board just in case. |
Just don't launch in front of the restrooms and it will probably be cake.

Having watched you launch and land it must have been as flat as shit... Admit it you still took a wave to the face?? Haha |
Long period swell never breaks at the launch regardless of direction.
