Hey there brother, I'm going to be down there nice and early as well and am willing to share a couple brews n whatnot before hand :cheers1: I'm Going to take a half day at least from work to get down to OEX so they can help install some Scotty mounts before we depart so I will keep an eye on this thread to see where it goes..

Good luck, fellas!!
Please post up a report when you get back. I'm on the NCKA 3.5 day trip and I chartered the NCKA 2.5 day trip. Looking forward to hearing how you folks do. I'll post a report from our trips, as well. |
Anyone got a beat on the weather forecast for this weekend yet? Also any tips and tackle recommendations would be awesome! :reel:

You guys should be good. The forecast posted above is for SCI out to 60nm. The point and click forecast for SCI looks much better.
Friday W wind around 10 kt. Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny. WNW swell 1 to 2 ft. Wind waves around 2 ft. Friday Night W wind around 10 kt. Increasing clouds. . Wind waves 1 to 2 ft. Saturday Variable winds 5 kt or less. Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny. WNW swell 1 ft. Wind waves 1 ft or less |
That's the forecast I've seen as well. Last I checked winds were supposed to be up to about 10kt for the weekend but now it says it might be lower come Saturday. Looks like the weather is clearing up just in time so hopefully it stays true.
