Dana Pipe 3/20/16
Fished the pipe for a few hours with Orca Winfrey for a mixed bag of fish. Calicos, Sand Bass, Sculpin, Sheephead, and Greenies were in the mix. We were dropping squid down and throwing darker colored fish traps. The winds were practically non-existent with glass-like conditions.

There's much less effort involved in getting speed and maintaining it as compared to the std fins and the rudder is superb for sharp turns. |
I love those Dana goodie-bag days. Thanks for the report!

Looks like you were on a lake.

It was a great day. Lots of other yak anglers out there too. There was also a good sized dolphin pod which was really neat to see. Also had "fun" trying to keep up with Saba's new leg-powered contraption. The only bummer was the 45 minutes we lost trying to find parking at the baby beach because there was an annual yak racing event going on. Skinny, unstable carbon fiber yaks everywhere.
