Quick Flurry- One Sixty
3 Attachment(s)
Blessed to have a chance to pound some real hours again. This was a little 30 minute flurry wrapped around hours of...seal harassment, wind and current. Buddy abt 50' away smelled like skunk, lol. Still trying to figure out the difference. Def not squandering too many chances by using fresh, quality gear. 46, 53 and 61. All on light rods and reels!

Man looking back to those moments when life gives you an opportunity and you sit and ponder is it worth the time and risk...
http://www.bigwatersedge.com/bwevb/s...ad.php?t=25035 I must say this night thing is freaken scary as heck... Sitting there wet and in the dark depending solely on your other senses as they go into overdrive over the smallest sound and light.. You hear and see things crash the surface but can't distinguish if it's bait, seal or shark.. Your heart stays pumping even as your eyes try to shut down... But fear kicks in and keeps you going... I can only imagine that's what Deamon goes through each night for the opportunity like this... Kudos my man.. It's not for everyone or the faint of heart but you seemly do it.. |
Time on the water!
Jim,
Congrats on the well earned triple. Setting the bar for quality and quantity! |

You're nuts, it's funny he only post when he catches. Long hours, night, seals, tangles, and other craziness all for maybe one bite, maybe if you're lucky. Chances are that one bite will be a shark or a fish that gets you snagged in the kelp. My last two trips out I was met with hammers and other crazy critters. It won't be long till them damn sharks are back in the area. Worst part is this time of year is with the surf. Impossible to time, nothing to worry about if you like to donate and get wet
|
He pays someone to go down and hook up his fish as well!
