Malibu x-13 question?!?!

I'm looking at an x-13 and was wondering what you guys thought. I have heard they are stable and if your smaller than that is better. I am 5'10'' and right at about 200 lbs. I think I should be good and the ride should be good but wanted to get some opinions from others. Thanks. I will be running a bait well as well. Probably most of the time.

I am selling my Xfactor, but it is 14'+

Very stable, thus it is heavy.

Lots of extras, just add water.

I have pictures, and working on a post about it.

For how much? My budget is about $500

I have an X13 and think it's a great kayak. Padles well, good deck layout, very good inside storage and access though the hatches. The only thing I found was that it is not as stable as the X Factor (I just sold) in the open ocean on a very windy day with 3 to 5 foot surf. It is lighter and being shorter, makes it easier to haul around or lift on top of an SUV. I put a deck connector in the back and was running a live well out of the same 12v battery as I ran the Lowrance Elite 4 that's set up on it. A good kayak if you don't weigh 220+lbs.

I have an X Factor that I bought a couple of months ago as well as a Stealth 12. Both are very stable kayaks as they are about 33" wide. I think that the X-13 is a little narrower, 29" if I'm not mistaken. That might not be as stable as the Stealth series or the X-Factor if rougher waters, but if the bays and calmer waters I would imagine that it would be just fine.

I have X13 for 3 years and LOVE it
It is not as stable as X Factor but it's lighter and easier to paddle
I can easily lift to top of my SUV too
I've had several kayaks before and currently have 3 kayaks (2 hobies X13)

In my opinion X13 is one of best fishing paddle kayak to me and I'm not gonna let it go
