Anyone going out sunday in carlsbad? 8/30
 

Hey guy's, any good catches in carlsbad still, thinking about heading out there since, la jolla might be closed down.

I dropped my son off at a Ponto bonfire this evening...still some swell...not interested in landing in chest high+ surf just yet.

My cousin and I might launch from O'side harbor tomorrow AM...maybe around 6 AM from the guest slips. I've only fished LJ, so looking forward to paddling around O'side to learn more. Expectations are low...

Paddle to the artificial reefs in O'side

Surfed Carlsbad all day today, waves were still solid 4ft this evening, supposed to hold all day tomorrow. Gonna hit LJ anyways ....

Oh really, okay ill probably try la jolla any way too then. I heard there was a shark in oside so be careful out there guys.

I saw him this morning...big scar/flesh wound on his back from a previous encounter...aggressive MoFo. Was out a mile past the sea wall and he followed me all the way back to the harbor entry before disappearing.
