Man Hours
Been chasing these ghosts for years and somehow could never put the pieces together. Been in the middle of every hot squid bite, seen schools of 50 at a time and had trophies swim right under me with nothing to show for it.
Today on the water was absolute sheet glass. green water, current was up and out and the visibility was crap. Bait consisted of top smelt and a gaggle of spanish. Usually i would go back to sleep, but something told me to stay out. Today, she swam behind the wrong kelp stalk. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...psvifydbsc.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...ps3xiy1fpy.jpg |

Impressive. takes some large nuts to get out of the yak and into the water out there. Way to let 'em hang! Great fish and great pic.
|
Dont you know theres ...fish poop in the water.
Nice stick. |
Nice fish Danno-
How big was it? |
Congratulations Danny, well deserved.

Way to STICK TO IT!!
I'd take the pic straight to costco and have them make a very large painting out of it. Then hang it in the living room. Wow!! |

Selfies happen when you dive alone :the_finger: |

Wasn't gigantic by any means. Little over 36" wanted to leave room for the 15 or so TANKERS I also saw that day. |
Nice going Danny ! You put in the effort and time and the reward is always sweet regardless of size..
