HURRICANE DOLORES WILL WEAKEN AND MOVE NORTHWEST AND WELL
OFFSHORE FROM BAJA CALIFORNIA THIS WEEKEND. LARGE SOUTHERLY SWELLS GENERATED WILL REACH SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA BEACHES AS EARLY AS SATURDAY MORNING IN ORANGE COUNTY...AND SATURDAY EVENING FOR SAN DIEGO COUNTY.

ELEVATED SWELL OF 5 TO 7 FEET WILL BE POSSIBLE...HIGHEST SWELL ALONG SOUTH FACING BEACHES. IN ADDITION...ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS ARE FORECAST FOR SATURDAY AND SUNDAY AT THE BEACHES.



* THUNDERSTORMS...ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS POSSIBLE SATURDAY AND
SUNDAY.

* IMPACTS...HIGH RISK OF STRONG RIP CURRENTS AND ELEVATED SURF.

Thats referring to swell. OC faces more S and SD faces W. The OC window is hit before SD. When the storm gets out W of Baja then SD is in the window. And LJ shores is blocked entirely on Summer S swells.

DUDE, really? You just short cutted about 176 newbie yakeers who will now understand W-SW swells versus N-NW in relation to LJ...

Flying sharks and deadly surf in dana. Even grandma can launch/land at Shores.
