Dana Point Kelp Paddy Yellows and Bluefin a few miles out???

Been hearing several reports of kelp paddy yellows already being caught 3 miles out of DP and now this? Is this legit?? Ha.

I have a 35lb thrust trolling motor with a 12v 35ah battery that'll last for quite some time. Whose down to take the trek out? Crazy to think the TOADS are within catching distance off the yak.
