Don't ever sell your kayak
Having kayak withdrawal, this truly is an addiction.
|
I didn't sell mine but got a new job and im now working 6 days a week so I can't get out kayaking. Totally know the feeling of the addiction, in the back of my mind I'm considering quitting just to go kayaking. I think that's how you know you have a problem :D
|
I haven't kayaked let alone fished for 3 weeks if that makes you two feel any better.
|
Hang in there Jimmy... Haven't been out since HOW mission bay and can't even start to think when I'll be out again due to family issues I'm dealing with... You will be back soon enough as fishing will always be there waiting...
|
HOW was out Kayak fishing, I went about week later to Shelter Island and fished from the beach while my son swam in the water. Looks like I'm going to have to get more shoreline fishing in. Glad to see I'm not alone in this withdrawal.

jimmy. hit me up. you can use mine anytime you have the need to get on the water. no problem.

Sorry to hear about the lack of a kayak.
But at least summers is getting near. Get the spinning gear out and pin on some sand crabs at Torrey Pines. I might enjoy sight fishing for Corbina as much as I like kayak fishing. Plus your son can swim in the water. |
First off Jimmy, you've been in my prayers. A few months ago I thought I'd be selling my gear off too, but as it stands we're just hanging on.
As far as wanting to fish, I right there with you too. I've been off the water for the last 5 weeks or so do to a wrist problem. I'm supposed to wear this brace for at least another 3 weeks. But, I think I'm going to take it off next Friday for at least a few hours. I NEED to fish. |
Thanks everyone, you all are the best.
