Lobster Card Reporting
 

I totally blanked out on the lobster card reporting...! I just thought of it today...thankfully we can still report up to the 30th of this month. I'm surprised Jim didn't remind us...;) Hopefully everyone had a good season I know I did!!! Definitely the best season I have ever had by far!

Thanks for the reminder Tony...My card is in the DFW's computer on-line.
Yea...Santa Monica Bay was on fire this year...best year I've had in quite a while! It was limits every trip if you put the time in. I quit early a few nights if I didn't get my limit in the first 5 nets...so I spoiled a perfect card. Lots of biggies!
I hear a couple of guys did pretty good this year too...

That's a Brother from another Mother!

This was my first year when I was able to lobster fish, I got three in 5 trips, apparently Mission Bay is not the hotspot for lobsters :confused: Hopefully I'll get some more next year. Until then I'll just be content that I've caught 300% more lobster this year than I have ever caught previously :D

If you file a report on-line, be sure to keep your card for at least 90 days.

They may want to see it.

Write your confirmation # on the card too.

Dang it...almost forgot too. 2nd best year ever even though it pooped out early in San Diego...

Yep...I think I only screamed at one a-hole boater all season. That little statistic right there confirms a great season. Or maybe I'm just mellowing out a bit...NOT! Just seemed like there weren't as many hoopers. Prob cause that Fall tuna bite was still going strong when bug season started...

Ended up with five five...thought I had a chance to smash my record of eight eight. When San Diego started to tank early in the season, I thought I could fall back on a group of "good" friends who were killing it at their spot further north. I was hopeful at first, then got angry and then I was FULLY EXPECTING MULTIPLE INVITES. I waited and checked my phone and waited and checked my phone and waited and checked my phone and waited and checked my phone and waited and checked my phone and waited and checked my phone and waited and checked my phone. I told my wife..."maybe these a-holes don't like me"...:the_finger:

And then there was ChuckD...he wanted me to show him my bug spot first and I wanted to go to his spot first so we just stared each other down until the season ended...:the_finger::the_finger:

Get Those Cards In...
 

Get those Lobster Report Cards in...the DFG Commission meets on June 10th and 11th in Mammoth Lakes and at that meeting they will discuss the new proposed regulation changes for the 2016'-17' season.
Please get that Lobster info in...It is the only real true catch info that I can use to defend your hooping and diving rights at these meetings.
The zeros or did not hoop cards are just as important as the guys that limited every night...if not more important...so please be a part of the solution and not the problem!!!
