Question about re-wrapping a eye on rod
 

So was on a cattle boat on Sunday, my favorite and less than six month old new to me calstar 90j had the eye third from the tip busted by some googin who moved my rod from the holder to let it sit out. Only noticed once I got home. Anyone on thr forum do repairs, am thinking about possibly replacing all eyes to a stronger version, always go to squid co, but they are closed when I leave to go to work and Saturday's are my only drop off option. Live in east county so can stoke someone out that builds rods.
