Making bait?

Hello everyone! First time poster long time reader.

I do most of my fishing off OB/PL cliffs and have been having trouble making bait. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Gabe

I'm guessing you are fishing from a yak:paddleersmilie:
If you dont have a ff, look for puddling bait and cast your sabiki by them. Youll load up on the drop if they are macs. Or you could drop your bait rig down next to kelp stringers. If you dont get any on 1 or 2 drops, move a bit and keep trying. You could also try to chum the bait up with some cat food.

Hey I just wanted to say thanks again! Went out this morning and had great luck with the cat food. I had some squid cut up just in case but didn't need it. Now the only question is how to keep those big macks away. Some of these guys this morning would have been dinner if they swam to close to the pier. HAHAHHA
