I may not be the first to congratulate you for a nice fish but I'd like to be the first to commend you for posting your fish so early. Posting your fish so soon makes all of us want to get out, catch a 33pounder and knock you off the leader board. You've definitely set the bar, if you win with this fish welcome to Team Sewer: lobster, London broil, baked potatoes, beer battered halibut fish tacos, pork chops and lets not forget the beer, beer and more beer and every Team Sewer camp out. 32lbs is a nice start to 2015. To hell with tape measurements, where are the GPS co-ordinates!

Another angler weighed it in at 32 lbs. and some change on a rapala scale . This was done as soon as I landed . Here iare the numbers that I came up with on bathroom scale .

I am claiming 32lbs
 

I had a little something something on the end of the jig. As soon as it got close or touched bottom , I got slammed . With a treble hanging out of his mouth , it was pretty much game over . Gaff shot and half a dozen love taps with my tire thumper and its game over . Depth 150 ' - 160 ' . Water temp 61.5 degrees . Approximate time 10:00 a.m. . Sky's were blue with calm winds . Ocean was very calm and almost slack . When I cut open his stomach it was empty except for a handful of gravel . Short strikes and near misses ? This fish was probably very hungry . Tight lines everyone . Put on your thermals and get out there . When I woke up there was ice on my pickup .

I know what my new Hali bait is.....gravel sack....... And on the Iron....(the cheeseburger combo?)
