Tidelands park

I am thinking about heading out to fish tidelands with some family that is in town for the holidays. Any recommendations on artificial bait to use, color, size etc.? Oh, and where to buy them? Thanks in advance, happy Thanksgiving!

Look for schools of smelt, lots of them at tidelands. Catch a few on sabiki, then troll one in a halibut rig. Worked for me last time I was there.

Thanks for your help everyone. Buddha, they had everything that I needed there although, they wanted me to buy the disposable artificials, thanks again!

My go to bait at tidelands is gulp shrimp or jerk shad in new penny color. Can get at wal-mart. fish them carolina stye.

Gulp shrimp on a jighead next to the bridge pilings or along the channel just slowly drag them around and youl get bit.
