MrPatrick, I think has everyone beat. He has told me that he's been at it for 5+ years and has still to land a Yellow from the kayak. I don't know the number of trips involved, but time wise he's got unbelievable patience, might qualify for sainthood, ha, ha, ha. MrPatrick I wish for you all the luck it take so you can pop that cherry on your next trip. Tight Lines Patrick.

7+ years and not often enough times out. I just need to decide to commit to LJ and get my time in.
It is I as well, but I havent taken the yak out at all this year :( Is it too late?
Never too late, even if the bite dies down, there are still the larger Homeguard year round. You just never know which you'll hook up.
It is me, too.
My one hook up was lost to a weak improved cinch knot and leader that was too light. I'm using 40lb flouro leader (which seems like a bit of overkill) and palomar knots now. And it's not too late. My buddy speared a 25-ish pound YT yesterday when we were out at LJ. |
IT's me too. I guess them YT aren't going to jump in my yack and game clip themselves. It's been about 4 years am I'm still waiting...:toetap05:
None here, but than again I don't for see any yellows jumping in my kayak in the garage while at work :(
