Where are you headed to Matt? You will be missed, best of luck.

rossman 07-11-2014 03:32 PM

Does that mean there is an opening for the Team Sewer whipin boy or is that an honorary position that you hold for life?

Oh there is most definitely a opening! Matt has already been excommunicated 4-life!

rossman 07-11-2014 03:59 PM

He may fight that on the grounds of dementia

bubblehide 07-11-2014 06:55 PM

Moving away, man I am sorry to hear that, but hope it's a good move for you. Wish you the best!

Man, Team Sewer, you were Team Sewer, damn, team sewer is less than nothing without you.

Vermont is not too bad, the closest thing to a GHOST you will catch will be a trout, and most are small. Best of luck with your new venture and please keep posting.

momo fish 07-12-2014 09:34 AM

And so are the bluefin tuna :)

Good luck man and the good thing with the internet is that it works anywhere. Keep in touch on your new adventures.

I'd buy the waders, but the thought of touching the whole zipper area is more than I can handle!!!!!

FlyFishinYakr 07-15-2014 08:36 PM

MATT!!!,
Say it ain't SO!
We haven't had a chance to fish together yet!
Although Vermont has some great Fly fishing freshwater and is beautiful in the fall and has some great skiing in the winter, that's still no kind of exchange for So. Cal. living/fishing! :D
Still need to meet up for that Fly Line winder (I'll bet you thought I forgot about that didn't you!)
Also interested in the irons if you still have them.
Look into shipping cost and get back to me.

Leaving on Saturday........the CA bite should be WFO by Sunday!

PapaDave 07-17-2014 08:22 AM

Sorry to hear you are leaving Matt. Kind of short notice...

Why Vermont? Isn't it a tad cold there?

On the plus side the fishing there shouldn't be too bad. Smallmouth bass, Largemouth bass, Walleye, Pike, Pickerel, various trouts, some rather large, catfish and landlocked Salmon.

Take care my friend and keep us up to date with the fishing over there.

kobra 07-17-2014 02:57 PM

Good luck Matty. Hope everything works out for you and the family. Looking forward to your fishing reports.
