Hapcheon Bassin 29 March...
Got my biggest bass in Korea and one of my top 5 largest bass so far. I've caught hundreds of bass, but not many large ones.
Fished 14 hours in the rain yesterday, for two fish and farmed one. Tried this morning but the front moving through had the wind up, was tough to do much of anything. Threw in the towel after 7 hours and no fish. https://fbcdn-sphotos-h-a.akamaihd.n...65248698_o.jpg Got in the truck to find this guy in front of my face.... would have cancelled my trip before driving with him in the cab. Luckily he flew away. https://scontent-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hpho...05527719_o.jpg https://fbcdn-sphotos-c-a.akamaihd.n...93841435_o.jpg Mandarin fish.. one of my bucket list species. https://fbcdn-sphotos-g-a.akamaihd.n...41576932_o.jpg Mystery fish dinner. Sometimes I just have to ask for whatever is available, not speaking the language can be a challenge. Wasn't bad, a bit spicy. https://fbcdn-sphotos-e-a.akamaihd.n...26109537_o.jpg Outriggers came unglued at the bases... have to epoxy them. Only the third time or so they've been used. https://fbcdn-sphotos-b-a.akamaihd.n...89858446_o.jpg Nice fish to break in my newly built rod... https://fbcdn-sphotos-c-a.akamaihd.n...18475625_o.jpg 4.15 on the digital scale.... https://scontent-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hpho...83405487_o.jpg https://fbcdn-sphotos-f-a.akamaihd.n...10079402_o.jpg https://fbcdn-sphotos-d-a.akamaihd.n...78090619_o.jpg 14 hours of fishing in the rain for two fish will about drive you mad... but better than no fish! :) |
14 hours with two fish isn't as bad as thinking about 14 hours on your butt in that seat. You must have some natural padding in the right places ;)
That place looks quiet and the fish looks nice. Thanks for sharing |
God man ! Your post is really making me home sick.
Madalin fish is very good eating fish . I believe it's hard to find now and I heard bass is whole over the lake and river like Asian carp spread US. How the Koran people react to see American flag on your kayak ? |
