Lights for the kayak

Been looking at getting some lights for the kayak, as my additction to this sports deepens and I got an email advertising some legit looking lights. Does anyone have experience with these??

Watched a video of lights in action recently. Looks like it would a really good idea if you're going out looking for squid and WSB while it's dark. That's underwater green really gets bait to come up. For me though, I'm just going to visipole and a solid head lamp. Less shit to break/go wrong.

Did a quick grammar check after I submitted the post.
Sounded like yakjoe for a little bit there.

I agree. I have the visipole and a good headlamp and they have been doing the job thus far and I have nothing but good things to say about YakAttack and their quality gear. I may give these a go. Not sure yet.

one battery, sealed isnt very much to go wrong if you want a tank full of candy before everyone wastes the morning jigging for 25 squid.

I definitely agree with you there. I would just make sure you wire everything into a block or another separate way so that if something gets wet it doesn't short your FF/GPS. I might even do it someday, but I would want to get a few more night runs under my belt before committing to a permanent light system.

that's pretty slick. At that point are you just scooping then with a net?

I have some LED pool lights that I am going to rig up this year... I have regular blue and white or I have some that I can pick any color...

Details are being worked out however expect OEX and KFS to be carrying these Supernova lights in the near future. Solid product.

I may have just gotten off of the phone with you regarding installation on a PA12. I will see you soon.

Just ordered the SuperNova kayak extreme lighting kit in green and got it for 15% off with free shipping and no sales tax. Talked to OEX about installation once I get it. We shall see how things go.
