Only my 3rd legal from the yak. I was absolutely screaming like a girl out there when I landed him! Every time one of the harbor excursion boats passed by I'd hold him up! LOL!

My dad always told me the halibut are in the bay all year round. No need to wait for spring or summer. They ARE there. When I went to the bait receiver I absolutely knew it would be a good day. They asked " "dine or chovies?" And I answered with a resounding " ' dines!" The baits were nothing short of perfect. About 4- 6" and shiny bright.

You may get more bites and a greater variety with chovies, but for me, 'dines are the ticket. Thanks for all the good cheer!
