Redondo launch recommendation

I want to check out some new areas and was wondering if someone could recommend a good place to launch from at redondo beach harnor. I wanted to fish the canyon.

from the hand launch. its just down the path to the right of the short pier if you facing the pier.

Be sure to write hand launch on the back of your parking ticket and it will be 4.00$ for 8 hours.
