I'm back in the game my friends!

Good fortune has shined is light on me once more and I was able to secure an awesome deal on this tarpon 120. It's been a good year since I was in a kayak seat and if I wasn't working I'd be on the water right now. So who is down for NPH this Monday?

Also if anyone has a bucket live well they want to sell, im in the market. Maybe you upgraded and still have your old one sittin around? Hmu.

See ya out there on Monday morning. A couple of friends and I will probably be in the 180-200 feet area trying to snag a few.

How do those outriggers work for landing in the surf?

I have not taken this rig out yet so have no experience from which to speak from, but the outriggers are a 3 part pvc system that slide into the centerpiece abs are held with pinions so they are completely detatchable on the water. Realistically I won't be using these in surf launches or on long distance paddle days. The previous owner was a bit more concerned with flipping then I am.

Nice rig.. I plan to go out this Monday. I just got my gear from when I was stationed in Hawaii. I was wondering what spot is NPH??

Newport Harbor, outside the Harbor if the weather permits (and probably even if it doesn't) inside the Harbor for flatties and spotties if outside doesn't pan out
