I grab the rod out of the rod holder(newly installed Orca)<o:p</o
Head shakes….feels like the right kind but heavy
Fish runs away….feels like a shark I tighten the drag just a bit<o:p</o
Fish runs back toward me….feels like a batray<o:p</o
More head shakes….still feels like the right kind, but super heavy I back off on the drag
Fish turns and runs….feels like a ????, I thumb the spool and burn my skin
Fish comes to color, belly is on the opposite side of the fish so I have to reach over it for the gaff shot
my mind says: I have one shot at this, if I miss the gaff shot I'm going to lose this fish
I gaff the fish and I scream like a 14 year old girl at a Justin Beiber concert

Seeing the head of that fish for the first time was a trip. Looked like a freaking dinosaur!
