Maybe your dad was saying "wrongies" :p

YTHunter 08-17-2013 09:58 PM

We use to call 'em Ronkies. Nobody would eat them as everyone said they had worms/parasites.

alanw 08-17-2013 10:19 PM

I don't see a barbel under the chin so its a White Croaker, definetly not good to eat. I do see some people taking them home though

check out the food value and comments on the bottom:

come on!

its a chupacabra, I know because it was yelling at me in spanish to toss em back. :D

oneyedeer 08-18-2013 08:02 AM

Its not the parasites you should be worried about....I seen billboards of the croakers being contaminated for years in 3 different languages, but people still eat em.

those sharks

put up a decent fight . hooked one on a jig with squid recently . my first thought was here it is , a 68 lb wsb . 6- 8 minutes into the fight i realized something is not right . needless to say those things can get very massive , and this one was not small by any means.
