Grunion run tonight - Where to go in DP
 

Hey guys,
Just wondering if anyone knows a good beach to go to for the grunion run tonight in dana point or san clemente?
I want to fish and catch some bait for this week. I hear the hali love grunion and was thinking of freezing some.

I guess Im just going to go to doheny. Watched a youtube vid and it looks promising.

seems like a good spot to me. they run south by the camp ground.


I look forward to hearing about the outing.

might be a little late but SC pier used to put out a good run. Plus you can go out and drop from the pier and try and catch some of those flatties that should be in shallow going after the grunion.

up well nothing at Doheny right now gonna head down to San Clemente and see if I can find some.

No luck for me tonight finding them. Went from doheny to san clemente back to doheny and still nothing.
Walked down the beach fishing the shore for about an hour at doheny. Got one real nice hit which took the tail off the lure I was using but nothing other than that. Went to sc pier and fished the end middle and beginning with no luck. Was there for about an hour.

Forcasted time is anywhere between 10:40-12:40; I've noticed manytimes they come up during the last half of the forcast.
